Being a Master of Management student in an esteemed institution like ICL GBS, I have been involved in varied compulsory academic projects allocated by the institution as part of the course objective apart from other projects that I had done on professional grounds earlier. I include and mention the best, most recent and successful project, incorporating the latest analytical models and methods.
I had chosen British Petroleum (Bp) company of NZ, their existing international platform and websites for carrying out the project. To give a brief background, Bp was chosen for conducting three projects in three different subjects involving three different analytical verticals. With due permission from lecturers, Bp was chosen in common, which unintentionally resulted as repetition and gave me an edge over others in saving time through in-depth awareness on places to locate exact and required information. As evident, the project that I had done last, turned out to be the best due to me getting used to information locations due to repetitive investigation and also because of the interesting and intricate factors involved as requirement in its analysis, “Business Professionalism - Case Analysis and Business Strategy - BP and BP in NZ”, named after the subject, scope and involved organization respectively. Also, due to time being saved, I adopted an extensive qualitative approach and invested more time on doing quantified reference works and evidence providing relating to the project for precision and enhanced outcomes, reducing the scope and gaps of the project derivable.
The content of the project involved discussions, critical analysis and evidential references to support the evaluation on the background of the organization, the leadership/management issue with supporting evidence, scope of the plan, SWOT analysis, discussion on company strategic goals and purpose for the next 2-3 years, SMART objectives for recommended changes for betterment, tactics for implementation for each objective, intended or anticipated outcomes of each objective, key performance indicators (KPI) for each objective and risks involved along with mitigative ideas. The project conclude with a discussion on the minimal gaps of the project and future scopes for better results.
As a contribution to the project, I had maintained original and high precision regrading use of determinates as per international standards. The projects aim at Betterment for Best Recruitment in the organization with objectives to expand knowledge and expertise resource base; to build up further towards Brand and Reputation and to generate higher innovation rate and profitability.
